The doctor’s pursuit of perfection on behalf of his patients is a lifelong mission. He was raised in Beverly Hills, California where he was an art student at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. A firm believer that the human touch is timeless, he enjoys sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm with groups whenever he can (WEDU’s Speaking of Women’s Health, where he spoke on “Cosmetic Surgery Dreams Can Come True”).  He has also presented to other plastic surgeons at meetings on topics ranging from “Endoscopic Facial and Breast Surgery” to “Endoscopic Facial Surgery: Minimally Invasive Cheek Midface.”

With extensive knowledge in his field, Dr. Halpern is board-certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification, and continuous certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.

Among his professional affiliations, he is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS).

Remaining at the forefront of cosmetic surgery innovation and a leader in achieving the natural and beautiful results patients seek, his goal is to make cosmetic surgery as smooth and easy a process as possible.

Plastic surgery is a surgical specialty involving the restoration, reconstruction, or alteration of the human body. It can be divided into two main categories – reconstructive surgery and cosmetic surgery. A plastic surgeon’s primary responsibility is performing surgical and non-surgical procedures, and they use a variety of reparative and reconstructive techniques to get the job done.
