A reputable general surgeon, Dr. Lockwood specializes in abdominal contents including the esophagus, stomach, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, and often thyroid glands. He is in practice with Salem Medical Center in Salem, New Jersey.

In addition to the main hospital campus in Salem, Salem Medical Center has a number of physicians providing a wide variety of care in several locations in Salem and Gloucester counties.

Back in 1984, Dr. Lockwood obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then went on to perform his internship and residency in general surgery at Union Hospital-NYCOMEC in 1985 and 1989, respectively. 

Continuously advancing his professional efforts, he is an active member of the American Osteopathic Association.

General surgery is a surgical specialty that focuses on abdominal surgery including the stomach, small bowel, colon, colorectal, liver, pancreas, gallbladder and appendix, as well as hernias, breast and soft tissue tumors . Dr. Pastor performs advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgeries as well as EGD (esophageal gastro duodenoscopy) and colonoscopy. He follows the patient through critical care and surgical recovery all the way to outpatient care.
