A renowned obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Bruce has been practicing for over two decades in the Northwest Houston area. She is a part of the team of professionals at Houston Methodist Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates - Willowbrook, and is the Assistant Chief Quality Officer at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital.
Houston Methodist Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates in Willowbrook offers a wide variety of services for women of all ages. It offers high-quality treatment for the most complex pregnancies and gynecologic disorders, and the physicians are expertly trained and have access to the most advanced, state-of-the-art labor and delivery and surgical suites. From pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, menstrual irregularities and contraception to ovarian, uterine, vulvar and cervical cancer, the women’s health experts offer a full spectrum of treatment options personalized to each patient’s unique needs.
A firm believer in personalized care for her patients, Dr. Bruce strives to bring the highest level of knowledge to each visit. She practices evidence-based medicine combined with caring and compassion. She is thankful to work in a faith-based hospital, where she serves on the Peer Review Committee, continually working to improve the Methodist Experience for both physicians and patients.
A Tomball High School graduate, Dr. Bruce graduated with her medical degree from Texas A&M University School of Medicine in 1997. She then went on to perform her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Memorial Hermann–Texas Medical Center, after which she earned her Master of Applied Science from Johns Hopkins in 2020.
Recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, she is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.
In good standing with a number of professional organizations, Dr. Bruce is an active member of the Christian Medical & Dental Associations, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Association for Physician Leadership, the Harris County Medical Association, and the Texas Medical Association.
Since 2021, she has been serving as the Assistant Site Dean at Texas A&M College of Medicine, Willowbrook Campus.
