After dental school, he elected to further his dental training by attending The Medical College of Ohio, where he did a residency in general dentistry, which allowed him to not only practice dentistry in a practice environment but also a hospital environment.
Remaining at the cutting edge of the dental industry, he is an active member of the Ohio Dental Association and American Dental Association.
Very active in Dayton and in the dental community, Dr. Bohme sits on the Board for the Dayton Dental Society. He also volunteers his time once a month at the state level to represent the dental community for a national non-profit organization.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
Outside of practicing dentistry, Dr. Bohme enjoys golfing and spending time with his two daughters.
