His expertise led him to become chief of surgery at Ocala Regional Medical Center, where he also served as a member of the board of trustees.
Dr. Jawad’s commitment to advancing surgical techniques is evident through his extensive experience, having performed over 6,500 laparoscopic bariatric surgical cases since 2000. His proficiency in laparoscopic surgery extends to complex biliary, colon, and endocrine procedures, showcasing his exceptional surgical skills and precision.
As a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a respected member of various prestigious medical associations, including the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, the Florida Medical Association, and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, Dr. Jawad continues to push the boundaries of innovation in the field.
