Get to know Family Physician Dr. Sameer Ohri, who serves patients throughout the State of California.

A trusted family physician, Dr. Ohri sees patients at his private practice – Innovative Care Medicine – with offices in Riverside and Corona, California. He started the practice with the sole idea of providing excellent care and service to the community. He offers innovative and preventive medical solutions for adult patients of all ages.

Throughout his academic career, he double-majored in his undergraduate studies, earning his Bachelor of Science degrees in both Medicine and Surgery from the Christian Medical College in Ludhiana, India. He went on to receive his medical degree from the same institution before relocating to the United States for his required residency training.

After completing his residency in family medicine from Doctors Hospital in Michigan, he worked in a hospital-based setting in various places for more than 10 years, taking care of very sick patients of all kinds as their primary doctor. After relocating to California, he continues to work with hospitals as well as nursing homes in the area.

As a testament of his continued education, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.

With fluency in English, Hindi and Punjabi, Dr. Ohri can communicate with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds. They commend his warm and compassionate bedside manner, as well as his ability to educate them on managing and preventing chronic conditions.
