Sports medicine is a branch of medicine that deals with physical fitness and the treatment and prevention of injuries related to sports and exercise. A sports medicine physician is responsible for helping athletes prevent and heal from injuries alongside their athletic training. Their duties include diagnosing musculoskeletal conditions, developing physical therapy plans, and giving nutritional advice that suits a highly active lifestyle.
Dr. Fagan actively engages with her community through lectures, written contributions, and committee and board participation in the sports medicine field at local, regional, and national levels.
Her genuine passion lies in striking a balance between her fulfilling career, which she considers a blessing, and her equally remarkable family. During her free time, she enjoys moments with her family, indulges in writing, reading, acting, and pursues various other enjoyable, and occasionally whimsical, passions.
