How long after dentures can I eat solid food?
I would say allow yourself the opportunity to "walk before you run." Start with softer foods. As you feel more comfortable, you may progress stepwise to firmer foods. Let your comfort be your guide. It is important to chew with both sides at the same time; this will make the dentures more stable and allow them to be fully seated, or fully on. Thank you for your question. READ MORE
Are partial dentures bad for my jaw?
No. In fact, having missing teeth is more harmful to your jaw. Thank you for your question. READ MORE

His expertise include cosmetic, full-mouth restorative, and patient-centered dentistry. Hundreds of his patients have entrusted him to their professional dental care for over 25 years, recognizing him to be value-conscious and quality-oriented.
Since the age of four, Dr. Venincasa harbored a childhood dream of becoming a dentist, and that dream continues to shape his practice today. His vision revolves around placing the patient at the center, emphasizing traditional values like honesty, integrity, friendliness, sincerity, respect, and the golden rule of treating others as he would like to be treated.
In every facet of his practice, these core values are evident. Patients value his personal attentiveness, genuine caring demeanor, calm presence, gentle touch, interest in their lives, and the time he takes to provide individualized care. Among the objectives of his practice is the commitment to delivering care that not only meets immediate needs but also contributes to saving patients both time and money throughout their lives.
Born in Englewood, New Jersey, located just across the Hudson River from Yankee Stadium in New York City, Dr. Venincasa and his family moved to Dallas when he was 14 years old. He attended Texas A&M University, where he was in the University Honors Program, and graduated Cum Laude in 1983. Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
Dr. Venincasa’s success is rooted in traditional and Judeo-Christian values, diligent hard work, unwavering dedication, a deep sense of empathy for all patients, a laser focus on quality, and the ability to connect with patients.

Happily married to his wife, Lisa Cahill of Longview, Texas since 1991, they are the proud parents of five beautiful children. They were active parishioners at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Plano, Texas for over 29 years.
However, on June 20, 2020, after six years of study and formation, Dr. Venincasa was ordained as a permanent deacon in the Diocese of Dallas. He was and currently is assigned by the bishop as a deacon at All Saints Catholic Church in Dallas. He applies his gifts of wisdom, knowledge, kindness, generosity, justice, and love of neighbor to all he encounters; this benefits his dental patients a great deal.
