Maintaining clinical practice at Tucson Natural Medicine Center, Jeremy offers the following services: traditional Chinese acupuncture, Japanese acupuncture, auricular acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, fire cupping, and moxibustion.
Preparing for a life in medicine at an early age, he set his sights on a career as a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. Persistent study and focus lead to acceptance at Bastyr University’s Naturopathic Medicine Program, where his eyes were opened to what would be his career: the practice of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Transferring to the immersive, apprenticeship-based Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine, Jeremy was able to build upon previous education, diving into the study and practice of acupuncture and oriental medicine. He received an excellent education, supervision, and guidance from leading minds in Chinese/U.S. Clinical Practice of East Asian Medicine, including Kiiko Matsumoto, Dr. Richard Teh-Fu Tan, and Dr. Huang Huang (China).
In addition to being a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine, he is licensed through the State of Arizona Acupuncture Board of Examiners and certified as an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist through the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association.
Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine and a key component of Traditional Oriental Medicine. It is a technique in which thin needles are inserted into the body and in some cases, electro-stimulation is applied to gently stimulate particular regions of the body. Acupuncture is also used to maintain general health and well-being. Acupuncturists treat a variety of physical and psychological issues, such as anxiety, depression, insomnia, pain, digestive disorders, and infertility.
Outside of the office, Jeremy trains for marathons and triathlons in his free time.
