His career path landed him in Ponce, Puerto Rico where he completed 4 years of residency training at Damas Hospital. 

Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Acloque is recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

After completing his training, Dr. Acloque honed his skills in the acute care/hospital setting before deciding to focus his knowledge and abilities towards primary care. He is eager to help improve the healthcare of people in the community but also strives to change the flawed ideology that doctors are needed only when something is wrong.
