CSS is an independently owned and operated outpatient surgery center located conveniently on 4th Street in St. Petersburg, Florida. As a part of the All Florida Orthopaedic Associates family, CSS has been serving the Tampa Bay community for over 25 years, striving to bring the most personal and dynamic care to all valued patients. It provides a wide variety of care in the following services: orthopaedics, sports medicine, spine, pain, podiatry, and outpatient total joint replacement.
Professionally, Dr. Lowry is also the Chief of Orthopaedics and a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Team at Bayfront Medical Center, as well as the Chief of Orthopaedics at St. Anthony’s Hospital.
Providing excellence in his field, he is an active member of the Florida Orthopaedic Society, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
A 1978 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Dr. Lowry went on to perform his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County.
As a testament to his success, he is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery with a sub-specialty in arthroscopy and total joint replacement by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS). The ABOS is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopaedic residents and surgeons as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopaedic surgeons.
