Licensed to practice medicine in both Mississippi and Tennessee, he ensures that he can offer his expertise to a wide range of patients at the Olive Branch, Oxford, and Southaven locations. His commitment to the health and well-being of his patients is evident in his personalized approach to care, focusing on injury prevention and recovery strategies tailored to each individual’s needs.

Academically, Dr. Sherman earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 1997, following his undergraduate education at the University of Chicago in 1992. He completed his residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 2000, followed by a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Methodist Sports Medicine – Indiana University School of Medicine from 2004 to 2006. His qualifications are further bolstered by certifications from the American Board of Family Medicine in both Family Medicine and Primary Care Sports Medicine, along with added qualifications in Sports Medicine.
Before joining Campbell Clinic Orthopedics, Dr. Sherman served as the Medical Director and Team Physician for the University of Mississippi athletic program from 2009 to 2014 and as a Team Physician for Illinois State University from 2007 to 2009. His experience in private practice from 1999 to 2009 has equipped him with the skills necessary to provide exceptional care to athletes and active individuals alike.
