Back in 1961, Dr. Ramadan graduated with his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University in Egypt. He then relocated to the United States, completing his residency in pediatrics and his fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 1978 and 1980, respectively.
With years of experience, the doctor is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, he is a member of the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, the American Medical Association, and the Oklahoma State Medical Association.
Licensed to practice medicine in Oklahoma, Dr. Ramadan is affiliated with Mercy Hospital Fort Smith and Mercy Hospital Ada. He is also the Founder and Coordinator of Outreach Clinic, a volunteer physician at Compassionate Clinic, a team member for Physicians for Peace, and on the Board of Directors of The Jerusalem Fund for Education and Community Development.
Previously, he was the director in the development and establishment of a pediatric ward and NICU at Valley View Regional Hospital.
