West Plano Diabetes and Endocrine Center, PA provides the highest level of adult endocrinological medical care in a private practice setting. The staff’s areas of expertise include diabetes, thyroid, osteoporosis, parathyroid, adrenal, pituitary, hormone replacement, and lipid management. After obtaining her medical degree from Gandhi Medical College in India, Dr. Perlman successfully completed her residency in internal medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital/New York University Medical Center. She then went on to complete her fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at New York University Medical Center/Bellevue Hospital.

Following her education, the doctor became board-certified in internal medicine, endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
