She then returned to California to complete her internship in internal medicine at the Children’s Hospital of San Francisco, followed by her residency in dermatology at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. She also completed a fellowship in melanoma at New York University Medical Center in 1992.
A member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the doctor is board-certified in dermatology through the American Board of Dermatology, one of the 24 medical specialty boards that make up the American Board of Medical Specialties.
