Dr. Goldstein practices aesthetic medicine, where he has an expertise in the use of natural anti-aging biological substances including platelet rich plasma and exosomes derived from umbilical cord stem cells. Although aesthetic medicine procedures are typically elective, they significantly improve quality of life, psychological well-being, and social engagement.
At present, Dr. Goldstein serves as the Medical Director of PRP Hair Loss Treatment Center in Old Bridge and Colts Neck, New Jersey. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a recent, effective, affordable, and sustainable non-surgical treatment for the most common causes of thinning hair. PRP was discovered over twenty years ago as an effective therapy for wound healing for diabetic skin ulcers and bedsores to stimulate tissue repair. It is now widely used in university hospitals by sports medicine doctors for joint issues and by celebrities for cosmetic skin treatments, it is also known as the “Vampire” Facelift. Today, there are hundreds of hair centers world-wide proving the efficacy of PRP therapy to stimulate the regrowth and thickening of hair. PRP Hair Loss Treatment Center in Old Bridge is one of them.

Prior to his current endeavors, he worked in primary care and emergency medicine. He served in prestigious leadership positions, including CEO of the New Jersey Council of Teaching Hospitals and the NJ Council of Childrens’ Hospitals, as well as Commissioner of the NJ Department of Health & Senior Services.
In regards to his educational background, he graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio in 1968. He then went on to complete his postgraduate training at the University of Florida Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida, and Brooks School of Aerospace Medicine. He served as a flight surgeon in the USAF. He also attended Harvard’s Graduate School of Design, earning a master’s degree, and was formerly an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture and Planning.
Among the doctor’s many achievements, he is a co-author of the textbook Hospital Special Care Facilities and has presented numerous papers at state, national, and international conferences. From 2016 until 2017, he served as President of the Monmouth-Ocean Medical Society.
On the subject of his personal life, Dr. Goldstein grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, has two daughters, and enjoys golf and tennis.
