After completing his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of South Carolina, he pursued his podiatric medical degree at Kent State University. In 2014, he graduated and embarked on a transformative journey to further refine his surgical skills and expertise.

His pursuit of excellence led him to INOVA Fairfax Medical Center in Falls Church, Virginia, where he completed a rigorous three-year residency in reconstructive and trauma surgery of the foot and ankle. During his time there, he served as Chief Resident, demonstrating his leadership qualities and dedication to his field.

In order to further his training, Dr. Panicco sought a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the Foot and Ankle Institute of Desert Orthopaedic Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Under the guidance of renowned foot and ankle orthopedic surgeon Dr. Troy S. Watson, he honed his skills in a specialized setting, gaining valuable experience in both nonoperative and operative treatment methods. His training emphasized complex forefoot, hindfoot, and ankle reconstruction, as well as sports-related pathology and arthroscopy.

An active member of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, he has made significant contributions to the field through his publications, presentations, and lectures at national conferences. His expertise and dedication to advancing the field have been recognized, with his work being published in the prominent orthopedic journal, Foot & Ankle International.
