The ABP is an independent, nonprofit organization that was founded in 1933. It is one of the 24 certifying boards of the American Board of Medical Specialties. Pulmonology is a medical specialty that deals with diseases involving the respiratory tract. Pediatric pulmonologists diagnose, treat, and manage children from birth to 21 years old with breathing and lung diseases.
In honor of her clinical expertise, Dr. Leong has been the recipient of Patients’ Choice Award (2014, 2011, 2009, 2008), On-Time Doctor Award (2014), and Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2014).
