Dr. Lewis is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon that has been in practice since 1998.  He is a board certified plastic surgeon who is also fellowship trained in aesthetic surgery.  He completed a one year fellowship in New York City, affiliated with NYU at: Manhatten Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital.  His current practice is based in Canfield, Ohio but also maintains licensure and a practice in Indianapolis, IN.  Currently, his practice is largley cosmetic surgery, but also continues to devote approximately 10-20% of his practice to reconstructive surgery.  Dr. Lewis is committed to the open and kind treatment of his patients.  He is devoted to his patients happiness and satisfaction.  He is an artist and musician at heart that enjoys working out and participating in Triathlon during his spare time.

  • How long does eye lift surgery last?

    Typically, most board certified surgeons will tell you that eye lift surgery lasts at least 10 years. Of course there are exceptions to that and every patient should be spoken to individually, based upon their anatomy and medical history. Certainly, there are cases of eyelid surgery that must be performed conservatively, for medical reasons, that may not last that entire time.     For the most part, surgical procedures on the skin and soft tissues of the face are not very painful.     The best way to think of stretch marks is that they are truly scars in the skin. So, the answer is (most of the time, NO). Dr. Lewis earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois in 1989. He then went on to complete his internship in surgery at Akron General Medical Center in 1990, followed by his residency in surgery at the same medical center in 1995. He also completed his residency in plastic surgery at Summa Health System in 1997, followed by his fellowship in aesthetic surgery at the Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Institute in 1998.
