Get to know Dr. Fei Lu, a cardiologist serving Mishawaka, Indiana. 

Dr. Lu is a cardiologist serving Mishawaka and the surrounding communities at St. Joseph Health. 

St. joseph Health continues the legacy of caring for Michiana begun by the Sisters of the Holy Cross and the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ more than 150 years ago. Saint Joseph Health System is a Regional Ministry Organization of Trinity Health that provides compassionate, faith-based care paired with the latest in advanced medical technology and procedures. 

Dr. Lu received his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Sun Yat Sen University of Medical Science in Guangzhau, China in 1984. He went on to complete a residency at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in electrophysiology. As a cardiologist, Dr. Lu specializes in cardiac electrophysiology. As a cardiac electrophysiologist, Dr. Lu performs testing procedures on patients hearts electrical system in order to assess timing and abnormalities associated with electrical activities of the heart. Adult Cardiac Electrophysiologists are trained to treat irregular heartbeats, and carry out electrophysiology studies or ablations. 

Dr. Lu is board certified in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.  

Dr. Lu speaks English and Chinese.
