About

Dr. Aimee Snell is a pediatric dentist practicing in Carson City, NV. Dr. Snell specializes in the oral health of children. Pediatric dentists tend to patients ranging in age from infancy to teenaged years. As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Snell takes care of a childs teeth, gums and mouth. Children can face dental problems like tooth decay and gum disease without proper care. Pediatric dentists can provide dental examinations, give cleanings and treatments, repair cavitities and dental injuries like fractured or knocked-out teeth, diagnose oral conditions and more.

Big Blue Pediatric Dentistry is a pediatric dental office serving the Northern Nevada for the past 13 years.

Big Blue continues to be on the forefront of technology by using the first FDA approved Co2 hard and soft tissue laser. The SOLEA laser can provide most fillings and soft tissue procedures with no shot, very little to no drilling and no bleeding!

After having her twins and struggling with breastfeeding due to a posterior tongue tie, Dr Snell educated herself on the subject. She is now able to provide infant lip tie and tongue tie releases, also known as frenectomies. If your having trouble with breastfeeding or infant reflux visit an IBCLC. If your infant has a lip or tongue tie, Dr Snell can correct the tie with a laser frenectomy.

Being parents ourselves, we understand that each child is unique. Our care is centered on each patient as an individual, and treatment is completed using a family care approach.

A dental visit for a child should not just be fun and exciting, but should be a great learning experience. We strive to provide a comfortable and educational environment that your kids will ask to come back to again and again!
