Her journey into medicine began after she obtained her medical degree from the Central University of Venezuela Razetti School of Medicine in 2003. Upon graduation, she relocated to the United States where she performed a pre-internship in cardiology at Jackson Memorial, then an internship in Internal medicine at Geisinger Medical Center. From there, she went on to complete her residency in internal medicine at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in cardiology at Saint Vincent Hospital.
With a commitment to excellence in heart health, Dr. Capriles is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
