“Pediatric Associates of Westfield first opened its doors in Mountainside, NJ, in the spring of 1995 and our practice grew quickly! By summer of 1998, we knew we needed more room and settled in to our current office at 566 Westfield Avenue. In April of 2015, we acquired Cranford Pediatrics and expanded our services to that location. Through all these years and all our exciting changes, one thing is constant: Our goal of providing excellent care and personal service in a child-friendly environment” as stated on their website.
Educated in Italy, Dr. Panza graduated with his medical degree from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medicine at the Sapienza University of Rome in 1984. He then relocated to the United States, performing his residency in pediatrics at Overlook Medical Center in New Jersey, where he also served as chief resident.
With over three decades of experience, he is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
A member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Panza is certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). He is also affiliated with Overlook Medical Center.
Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends individuals be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.
