Dr. Onyewu, as known to his patients as Dr. Obi, is a fellowship-trained and double board-certified pain management specialist. He is the Medical Director of the CHOICE Pain & Rehabilitation Center, LLC, operating out of the offices in Olney, Rosedale, Lanham, and Pikesville, Maryland.

After receiving his medical degree from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia, Dr. Onyewu completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. He followed that with a pain medicine fellowship at the Mid-Atlantic Pain Institute in Delaware.
In pursuit of clinical excellence, the doctor is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR) & in pain medicine by the American Board of Pain Medicine (ABPM).
