The Center for Cosmetic and Laser Surgery is one of the premier cosmetic surgery centers in the greater Naperville area. Dr. Rubach graduated with his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1989, giving him over three decades of experience in his field. After obtaining his medical degree he completed his internship and residency with the Milwaukee County Medical Complex. Dr. Rubach completed an intensive Fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California-San Francisco, where he was appointed clinical instructor in the division of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, in the Department of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery.
Dr. Rubach was involved in the initial clinical research for the first laser, the Ultrapulse CO2 Laser, used for skin laser resurfacing. He published some of the first papers showing the tissue effects of laser energy on facial skin as well as comparisons to techniques of chemical peel and dermabrasion. He has continued to bring leading innovative technology to his patients for over 20 years. Dr. Rubach was the first to bring the Ultrapulse CO2 laser, Coolscuplting, and Thermitight to the Chicago area.
Dr. Rubach is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. The American Academy of Otolaryngology—Head and Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery are strongly committed to the promotion of professionalism and safe, high-quality care through professional self-regulation.
To stay up to date in his field, he remains a professional member of the American Association of ENT/Head & Neck Surgery and the American Medical Association. He has is also the author of multiple publications.
