After earning her Master of Science in Biochemistry degree at New York Medical College in 2001, Dr. Kalu completed her medical degree at New York Medical College in 2004, her general surgery residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center Brooklyn, and her breast surgical oncology fellowship at Stanford University Hospital. Dr. Kalu is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery. Additionally, in order to stay up to date on all medical advancements in her field, she maintains a professional membership with the Society of Surgical Oncology and the American Society of Breast Surgeons.
