A specialist in the field of neurology, Dr. Salzman treats adults at Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital. He specializes in the consultation, evaluation, and treatment of adult neurological disorders, the interdisciplinary management of chronic headache syndromes, positive airway pressure titration, and sleep studies. 

Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital is part of Cleveland Clinic’s Florida region which includes Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital and Cleveland Clinic Martin Health, and has a total of five hospitals and numerous outpatient centers in Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie and Indian River Counties.

Graduating with his undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley in 1992, Dr. Salzman went on to graduate from the University of Oxford in 1993. He pursued his medical education at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, earning his medical degree in 1997. 

Thereafter, he completed his internship in neurology at Oregon Health & Science University in 1998. A few years later, he performed his residency in neurology and his fellowship in neurophysiology and sleep medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in 2001 and 2002, respectively. 

With a passion for his profession, the doctor is board-certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting high-quality patient care for the public through the initial and continuing certification of psychiatrists and neurologists.

Licensed to practice medicine in Florida, Dr. Salzman is affiliated with Memorial Hospital Miramar, Memorial Hospital Pembroke, Memorial Hospital West, and Memorial Regional Hospital South.

Neurology is a branch of medicine dealing with disorders of the nervous system. Neurologists are licensed medical specialists who diagnose and treat disorders that affect the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles of patients. They examine a patient’s mental and physical status, conduct medical tests and scans, and evaluate the results to diagnose and treat the patient.
