That is clearly meets criteria for type 2 or type 1 diabetes, she should see an endocrinologist in order to evaluate for both. whether it’s fasting or two hours after meals, 100-140 mg/dL respectively. Need to make sure this is not steroid exacerbated or induced diabetes.. If she was recently and steroids are currently on steroids . If pregnant, gestational diabetes she should go see endocrinologist, or her primary care doctor immediately. Should also get a hgba1c test , and ab Abbott libre 3 for monitoring and bring in download for the doctors review hopefully in a few days, it’s just type two diabetes, and the rest come in.
