A 1998 graduate of Autonomous University of Guadalajara, Dr. Rivera performed her internship at Hospital Buen Samaritano in 2000. This was followed by a residency in family medicine at Manatí Medical Center in 2004.
With over two decades of experience in her field, she is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP).
