Get to know Family Physician Dr. LaKeisha Blair-Watson, who serves patients in Canton, Georgia.

Dr. Blair-Watson is a board-certified family physician, and specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and management of medical conditions in patients of all ages. She offers the same compassionate, attentive care patients are accustomed to from Medical Associates of North Georgia, and offers a full range of primary care services, including comprehensive physicals, acute illness care and chronic disease management, as well as minor surgical procedures, joint injections and preventative care.

Medical Associates of North Georgia is proud of the quality of their medical service to the individuals and families of the communities throughout metro Atlanta and North Georgia. The medical center was founded more than 30 years ago by William L. Early, M.D. and has grown to meet the needs of their patients throughout the years with the highest standard of medical care, including an outstanding staff of medical specialists and health care providers as well as major medical technological advancements.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Blair-Watson completed her medical education and residency in family medicine at the Wayne State University School of Medicine. 

Subsequent to her education, the doctor attained board certification in family medicine through the American Board of Family medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Remaining up to date in her field, she is an active member of the American Medical Association, and the American Academy of Family Medicine.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.
