Furthering her education she then graduated with her Medical Degree from the UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School in 1981, giving her over three decades of experience in her field. After obtaining her Medical Degree she completed her ophthalmology specialty residency with the UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School. Wanting to further her training she then completed her orbital and plastic surgery fellowship at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.
Dr. Neigel is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
