Having been practicing medicine since 1998, Dr. Brownlee is a well-versed emergency physician at Dallas Medical Center in Texas.

Locally, he is affiliated with a number of hospitals and medical centers in the state of Texas, including Kell West Regional Hospital, Wilbarger General Hospital, and TMC Bonham Hospital.

At the start of his academic career, Dr. Brownlee graduated with his medical degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans in 1989. He then went on to perform his internship in general surgery at Howard University, followed by his internship and residency in internal medicine at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center Shreveport.

Emergency medicine, also known as trauma and emergency medicine, is the medical specialty concerned with the care of life threatening medical conditions or injuries requiring immediate medical attention. They are trained to care for a wide range of problems that require emergent medical help. These problems are often serious and may be life-threatening.
