A caring and compassionate family physician, Dr. Swain is affiliated with the NCH Healthcare System, offering his services at Med Plaza Concierge in Naples, Florida.
His current practice includes a full spectrum of family medicine, from school-aged children to geriatrics. He treats acute illness and chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and cholesterol management. He also encourages healthy behaviors including appropriate screening, immunizations, as well as exercise and diet.
A 1985 graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, Dr. Swain went on to perform his residency in family medicine at David Grant USAF Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in academic medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, and received advanced training in anti-aging and regenerative medicine.
Serving as an Air Force physician, he completed twenty years of active duty service, retiring as a Lt. Colonel. During his military career, he taught for ten years at an Air Force teaching hospital, affiliated with the University of California, Davis.
Distinguished as a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Dr. Swain is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.
