Get to know Cardiologist Dr. Rodney C. Graber, who serves patients in Fishersville, Virginia.

A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), Dr. Graber focuses on non-invasive cardiology. He works at The Heart and Vascular Center of Augusta Health in Fishersville, Virginia.

The Heart and Vascular Center of Augusta Health is committed to high quality, patient-centered cardiology care. Diagnostic & therapeutic cardiology care services include: cardiology diagnostics, cardiac rehabilitation, electrophysiology, Heart Failure Clinic, interventional cardiology, interventional vascular, and venous disease management. Following his undergraduate and graduate studies at Eastern Mennonite University and Saint Louis University Graduate School, respectively, Dr. Graber went on to pursue his medical training. He graduated with his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio in 1993, after which he went on to perform his residency at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. This was followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Ohio State University Hospital.

With a passion for his profession, the doctor is board-certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. 

Moreover, he is board-certified in adult echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography, and in nuclear cardiology by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.

Cardiology is a branch of medicine that deals with the disorders of the heart, as well as the circulatory system. The field includes medical diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and electrophysiology. Cardiologists are doctors who diagnose, assess, and treat patients with diseases and defects of the heart and blood vessels (the cardiovascular system).
