Get to know Oncologist Dr. Trina A. Poretta, who serves patients in New Jersey.

A trained professional in the field of oncology, Dr. Poretta is the Physician President and Managing Partner of Comprehensive Cancer Hematology Specialists, P.C. (CCHS). She joined the CCHS staff in August of 2002, operating out of the offices in Voorhes and Turnersville, New Jersey.

Her areas of clinical focus include breast cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer, lymphoma, genitourinary cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, and cancer genetics. 

Comprehensive Cancer and Hematology Specialists, P.C treats blood disorders, all cancer types and helps in diagnosis discovery for patients. The practice focuses on helping the physical and mental battle that comes along with any type of cancer, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies, support therapies, and breakthrough testing that allows the deliverance of top notch comprehensive cancer treatment.

Born in Phillipsburg, New Jersey in 1970, Dr. Poretta received her Bachelor of Science degree at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She then graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, School of Osteopathic Medicine & completed her residency and fellowship training at Cooper University Medical Center. 

A member of the American Osteopathic Association, she is board-certified in both internal medicine, medical oncology, and hematology by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM). The AOBIM is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease in adults.

With over three decades of experience, Dr. Poretta is affiliated with Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill, Jefferson Stratford Hospital, Virtua Marlton, and Virtua Voorhees.

Happily married, Dr. Poretta lives with her husband and two children in Marlton, New Jersey.
