A trusted orthodontist, Dr. Butler has been dedicated to providing exceptional dental care at Southern Ocean Orthodontics since 2010. Before embarking on his professional journey, he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Rutgers University, and graduated with high honors from Temple Dental School, receiving the prestigious Magna Cum Laude distinction. During his time at dental school, he excelled and was recognized as the “Most Outstanding Member” of his senior graduating class. He further honed his expertise by earning a Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from UMDNJ.

Orthodontics is a specialty of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis, prevention, and correction of malpositioned teeth and jaws. Orthodontists are responsible for identifying problems with the positioning of a patient’s teeth and with their oral development. Born in New Jersey and currently residing in Manahawkin with his wife and two daughters, Dr. Butler cherishes spending quality time with his family. While his dedication to braces and achieving straight teeth is evident, nothing brings him more joy than being with his young daughters, Capri and Dolcessa.
