I'm spotting blood?
At your age, this should NOT happen. A cancer or precancerous lesion needs to be ruled out. It may simply be a polyp or other benign lesion, but we don’t want to miss the bad things. See a gynecologist ASAP. You will need an exam. I would also highly suggest an ultrasound of the pelvis, and endometrial biopsy. A PAP should also be done if you don’t have a recent one. The doctor should be able to give you a diagnosis with the above. Good luck. Don’t delay these recommendations! Susan Komorowski, MD READ MORE

How long can you carry a baby after your water breaks?
It’s important to be checked by your doctor if you think your water has broken. Plans need to be made if it’s really “broken.” You could develop an infection if the situation is not managed. If it’s not “broken,“ then it’s good to know and you can go home as long as all is okay with the baby! Never hesitate to call!! I would always want to know! Susan Komorowski, MD READ MORE
