An established cardiologist, Dr. Tejwani is the Director of Cardiac Imaging at Novant Health Heart and Vascular Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina. Concurrently, he served as the esteemed Chief of Staff at Matthews Medical Center, solidifying his reputation as a leader in the field of cardiology in the region.

His expertise lies in the realm of advanced Cardiac Imaging including cardiac CT, structural heart disease and guiding catheter based interventions,  congestive heart failure and pulmonary hypertension, general and preventive cardiology including lipid disorders. A product of a robust medical education, Dr. Tejwani's journey began at Government Medical College in Jabalpur, India where he obtained his medical degree in 1992. He continued his training with an internship in internal medicine at the University of Missouri in 1996, followed by a residency in internal medicine at the same institution in 1998. Dr. Tejwani then pursued a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Missouri, completing his advanced training in 2001.Subsequently he held joint appointment as assistant professor at the University of Missouri at Columbia and its affiliated VA Hospital before relocating to Charlotte, NC in 2008. 

Board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology And Cardiac CT, he has remained at the forefront of cardiovascular research and innovation, consistently seeking to enhance his skills and knowledge to better serve his patients. His contributions to the field of cardiology and relentless pursuit of providing state of the art cardiac care have earned him a stellar reputation among his peers and patients alike, cementing his status as a leading cardiologist in the Matthews and Charlotte community at large.
