With a broad educational background, Dr. Vo obtained his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in 1986. Upon graduation, he went on to complete his internship in surgery, his residency in orthopaedic surgery, and his fellowship in joint reconstructive surgery at the same educational venue. He also completed an additional fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopy at the University of Pennsylvania Sports Medicine Center.
Holding himself to a high level of excellence, he is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery and orthopaedic sports medicine by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopaedic residents and surgeons as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopaedic surgeons.
Directly affiliated with his industry, Dr. Vo is a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
