Educated in the United States, she earned her medical degree from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in 1992. Finally, she completed her fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 1997.
Following her training, the doctor attained board certification in neurosurgery and pediatric neurosurgery through the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS).
