An accomplished pediatric neurosurgeon, Dr. Schwartz is affiliated with The Center for Advanced Neurosurgery, tending to patients in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. She also treats select adult patients, and her office hours are flexible to accommodate the needs of all children and their parents.

Educated in the United States, she earned her medical degree from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in 1992. She then went on to complete her residency in neurosurgery at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 1996. Finally, she completed her fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 1997. 

Following her training, the doctor attained board certification in neurosurgery and pediatric neurosurgery through the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS). The broad aim of the ABNS is to encourage the study, improve the practice, elevate the standards, advance the science of neurological surgery and thereby serve the cause of public health.

Maintaining fellowship status, Dr. Schwartz is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurological Surgery (FAANS), and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
