Dr. Paone is a well-versed internist serving as the Medical Director of MedSpa Associates in Naples, Florida. Academically, Dr. Paone graduated with his medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in 1977. Upon graduation, he went on to perform his residency in internal medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Committed to his speciality, he is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. He is also certified in fractional skin rejuvenation; Morpheus8®, Fractora®, and FormaV®.

Prior to practicing in Florida, Dr. Paone worked at Kansas City Internal Medicine, PC, and in local hospitals in Kansas. In general, he was the first doctor that patients saw. He provided continuing care for patients moving through various hospital departments or other facilities. He also made referrals when necessary to specialists, or to tertiary care (from the hospital-only medical staff). In addition, he served on the faculty of the University of Missouri School of Medicine where he taught as an Associate Clinical Professor.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.

Throughout his line of work, Dr. Paone has been the recipient of several awards and honors, including Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2016, 2017), Patients’ Choice Award (2016, 2017, 2018), On-Time Doctor Award (2016, 2017, 2018), and America’s Top Physician Award in Internal Medicine (2011).
