Kuhn Dental Associates was opened in 1970 by Dr. David Kuhn. As a pioneer in dental implants and full-mouth restoration, he attracted patients from all over the state and beyond. His practice has been on the leading edge of implant and cosmetic dentistry ever since. A 2005 graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, Dr. Grimshaw has completed post-graduate course work for treating TMD, sleep apnea, and cosmetic procedures at the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies. Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
A native of the Sandhills, Dr. Grimshaw lives in Pinehurst with her husband and three children.
