Get to know Physiatrist Dr. Thomas S. Lee, who serves patients in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Lee is a well-versed pain physiatrist working with patients of all ages experiencing pain, weakness, or disability that prevents them from living the life they desire. He can be found on staff within the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

From developing pain management strategies and treatments to prosthetics and wheelchairs, the providers at the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Sinai Hospital pride themselves on working to give patients the freedom to return to their work, to their family, and to their life. They provide a wide array of inpatient and outpatient services with many specialized programs to meet the needs of the community and allow the doctors to follow patients throughout the continuum of care. The practice consists of physiatrists, resident physicians, and other specialized clinicians.

Back in 1997, Dr. Lee obtained his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in New Jersey. He then went on to complete his internship in internal medicine at MedStar Franklin Square Hospital Center, his residency in physical medicine & rehabilitation at the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University, and his fellowship at The Center for Spine & Sports Rehabilitation.

Professionally, Dr. Lee is affiliated with Anne Arundel Medical Center and the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center. He is also a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

With over two decades of experience in his field, the doctor is board-certified in pain medicine & physical medicine and rehabilitation by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR). The mission of the ABPMR is to serve the public by improving the quality of patient care in physical medicine and rehabilitation. This is accomplished through a process of certification and maintenance of certification that fosters excellence and encourages continuous learning.
