After obtaining his medical degree, he completed his dermatology residency at Mount Sinai as well and was chief resident in his last year of training. While a resident he earned many awards, including election to the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) medical honor society. n his third year of residency Dr. Sapadin was chosen by the American Academy of Dermatology to represent the United States at the annual British Association of Dermatologists meeting.
