G. David Adamson, BSc, MD, FRCSC, FACOG, FACS is a reproductive endocrinologist and surgeon, Clinical Professor ACF at Stanford University, and Associate Clinical Professor at University of California San Francisco. His undergraduate, medical school and obstetrics/gynecology residency training was at the University of Toronto and his Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fellowship training at Stanford University. Currently he is Director of Equal3 Fertility, APC, and CEO of ARC® Fertility.

Dr. Adamson has over 300 peer-reviewed and scientific/medical publications and has lectured extensively for over 3 decades nationally and globally on assisted reproductive technologies, endometriosis, surgery, infertility, access to quality reproductive health care, gender equity, evidence-based standards of care, and cost and affordability of fertility care. Dr. Adamson led the committee that created The FIGO Fertility Toolbox and the organization that created the global Endometriosis Phenome and Biobanking Harmonization Project (EPHect), and he created the Endometriosis Fertility Index, all digital tools used globally to improve health care for reproductive age women. He led development of a comprehensive practice management and electronic medical record system (ARCIS).

He is Chair of the International Committee Monitoring ART (ICMART), a non-State actor (NSA/NGO) in official relations with the World Health Organization (WHO), and President of the World Endometriosis Research Foundation (WERF). He is on the Board of the International Federation of Fertility Societies (IFFS) and International Federation of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FIGO) Committee on Reproductive Medicine of which he is Past Chair. He is Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Advanced Reproductive Care (ARC® Fertility), the largest United States network fertility company.

Dr. Adamson is Past President of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART), AAGL, and several other major gynecological societies. He has been recognized as one of the best 400 physicians for women in America and received many awards, including the Outstanding Achievement in Medicine award from the Santa Clara County Medical Society, a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition for contributions to the community, Distinguished Surgeon award from the Society of Reproductive Surgeons, Honorary Life Membership from the Canadian Association of Internes and Residents, the Barbara Eck Founders Award from RESOLVE, numerous honorary memberships and professorships, and the ASRM Distinguished Service award for his outstanding achievements in advancing the practice of reproductive medicine.

David Adamson, M.D. is a board certified reproductive endocrinologist and surgeon in Palo Alto and San Jose, California.

Dr. Adamson received his Medical degree and residency training at the University of Toronto in Toronto, Canada and his reproductive endocrinology, infertility and surgery fellowship training at Stanford University School of Medicine in Stanford, California.

He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Adamson is a Clinical Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine and Associate Clinical Professor at University of California San Francisco School of Medicine.

He is Past President of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the world’s largest and oldest reproductive medicine professional society, and Past-president of the AAGL (formerly the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists), the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology, the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society, Society for Reproductive Surgeons, San Francisco Gynecological Society, Bay Area Reproductive Endocrinologists Society, and Peninsula Gynecologic Society.

He is a Board member of the International Federation of Fertility Societies, Secretary-treasurer of the International Committee Monitoring ART (ICMART), President of the World Endometriosis Research Foundation (WERF), Chair of the International Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecology (FIGO) Reproductive Medicine Committee, and a member of many other national and international professional societies. He has also served as an advisor to the National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other governmental organizations.

Dr. Adamson has published over 125 peer-reviewed scientific articles, and book chapters, been editor of three textbooks, and presented lectures extensively on reproductive medicine and surgery, endometriosis, the assisted reproductive technologies and infertility.

He also serves on numerous editorial, government and industry advisory boards, both nationally and internationally, and is frequently consulted by the media.

Dr. Adamson served on the Board and Executive Committee of National Resolve, the national consumer fertility organization, for 10 years. He has been listed in Who’s Who in America since 1990 and recognized by Good Housekeeping Magazine as one of the best 400 physicians for women in America.

In 2006 he received the Outstanding Achievement in Medicine award from the Santa Clara County Medical Society where he practices, and a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition for outstanding and invaluable service to the community.

In 1997 Dr. Adamson founded Advanced Reproductive Care, Inc., a national network reproductive medicine company dedicated to increasing the value of medical care through innovative clinical and financial programs, information technology, clinical research, and outcomes assessment.

He has served as its CEO and Chairman since that time. The network’s physician members are now in 40 states and currently provide approximately one-third of the in vitro fertilization services in the United States.
