Get to know Family Physician Dr. Harland Holman, who serves patients in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

A board-certified family physician, Dr. Holman is in practice at Spectrum Health Family Medicine Residency – Grand Rapids. His special interests include cardiology, dermatology, and preventative medicine.

Spectrum Health Family Medicine Residency – Grand Rapids provides primary care services to patients of all ages. Their team’s focus is on preventing illness and helping patients and their families lead a healthier life through regular checkups, diet and exercise, and the latest medical guidance. They also have the experience and expertise to diagnose and treat a range of health problems, from minor aches and pains to chronic health conditions.

Completing his undergraduate education at the University of Michigan, Dr. Holman received his medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing. He then went on to complete his internship and residency within the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Michigan, where he was Chief Resident.

Passionate about his profession, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Teaching students, Dr. Holman serves as an Assistant Professor, Family Medicine Clerkship Director, and Associate Chair of Academic Affairs at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.

Holding membership status, he is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, and a core faculty member of the Family Medicine Residency Program.
