Upon relocating to the United States, she went on to perform her internship in internal medicine, her residency in internal medicine, and her fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington. 

A Distinguished Fellow of the Academy of Specialists in Gastroenterology, Dr. Jaiyeola is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American Gastroenterological Association. 

In addition, she is a Diplomat of the American Board of Hospital Medicine, which was founded to provide physicians who have made a career working in hospitals the opportunity to demonstrate their mastery of the core competencies required to render the best treatment possible.
