Get to know Cataract Surgeon & Comprehensive Ophthalmologist Dr. Krysta N. Goslin, who serves the population of Ohio. Dr. Goslin completed her undergraduate degree from Aquinas College where she graduated summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA in the Honors College. Furthering her education she graduated at the top of her class with her Medical Degree from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in 2012 giving her over 7 years of experience in her field. After obtaining her Medical degree, she completed her internal medicine internship with Michigan State University followed by an Ophthalmology residency with the Ohio State University Hospitals. Dr. Goslin is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. To stay up to date in her field, she remains a professional member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She is also an inductee of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She currently practices as a Cataract Surgeon & Comprehensive Ophthalmologist within Ohio Eye Associates. She holds an expertise in Cataract Surgery, Glaucoma, and Medical Retina, focusing on macular degeneration and diabetic eye care. When not working she enjoys spending time with her family, running and outdoor activities. Ophthalmology is a branch of medicine and surgery that deals with the anatomy, physiology and diseases of the eyeball and orbit. An ophthalmologist is a specialist in medical and surgical eye disease. Eye surgery, also known as ocular surgery, is surgery performed on the eye or its adnexa by an ophthalmologist.
