How long does dislocated ankle heal?
It depends on which structures were damaged during the Injury. At a minimum an x-ray should have been obtained at the time of injury to evaluate for any fractures. If no fractures are identified then often times your Health care provider will obtain an MRI to evaluate for soft tissue damage(ligaments/tendons). He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2016, and completed a fellowship in shoulder surgery at the Yale University School of Medicine in 2017.
Subsequent to his education, the doctor attained board certification in orthopedic surgery through the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery, which is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the medical and surgical treatment of disorders of the musculoskeletal system.
