Dr. Le is an Acupuncturist currently practicing in Oregon. 

Dr. Le evaluates and treats patients based on the concepts of oriental medicine. Acupuncturists complete their evaluations by getting a patient history and looking at and touching the body. Then, they place very fine acupuncture needles into specific points on the body. Stimulating these points and nerves is how Dr. Le treats the patient’s condition. Many of the body systems respond to acupuncture, and it can treat physical pain as well as emotional stress.

Acupuncture is a system of healthcare that has been developed, refined, and practiced in China for the past 4,000 years. In ancient times, acupuncture, along with herbal medicine, was used as the primary method of treating injuries and illnesses. It involves the superficial insertion of hair-thin needles into points on the body that have been proven to relieve pain and disease. Nowadays, most people come to an acupuncturist for medical problems that do not respond well to western medicine (such as drugs, surgery, pain killers, etc.).
